A RESILIENT PATH
The DMS story begins in 1974 with McGowin Miller (DMS Founder). Born with a profound hearing loss, he was told he would never speak. Ultimately McGowin’s determination and hard work as a child paid off, leading to a little boy who would speak. McGowin was insistent that he could and would do anything anyone else could do. With that determination, McGowin saw triumph. These challenges influence our mission and work.
After 12 years in construction and remediation, McGowin started DMS Construction in order to serve his clients with an experienced team through this same determination and work ethic. DMS Construction & Services is an Emerging Small Business, a Disability Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) and is HubZone Certified. NAICS CODES: 236210, 236220, 562910, 624230
